low growth...6-10 inches with detail for summer show ...what would you suggest? dry soil, full sun....rock garden environment new england zone 6
heat loving plants
I use Stonecrop, specifically Sedum Kamtschaticum. It loves full sun, works great in my rock garden, grows about 5-8 inches high, spreads about a foot and best of all it blooms from midsummer until fall. It really looks beatiful, even without flowers since it is a sedum and succulent. As long as your soil drains well, it isn't picky about composition. Hope this helps. Goodluck.
Also try "advanced search" under PlantFiles, I've found that to be useful as well. :)
