One of few animals I just can't seem to fall in love w/. Years ago we use to put out large tubs or dog kibble outside our dinning room windows so that the girls could watch the racoons while we ate. Occassionally the oppossums would show up, always singularly, unlike the coons who should up in bunches ready for the party! They often hissed at the racoons and bared their teeth...nasty looking mouths- poster children for better dental care. I know they are not terribly aggressive w/ people, but I can tell you I wouldn't want one to bite me.
