Why is my plants leaves turning yellow at the bottom half of the plant?
brugmansia arborea
Could be heat, mites, just old leaves, soil dried out to much.....can you take a picture and/or give more specifics? I'm sure someone will be able to give you an answer to your question.
Sorry it took so long to get back. Problems with my account. Will work on the getting a pic but I know it is getting enough water. I have it as a potted plant. It sits so it can get the dew off the roof each morning plus we have had rain. It doesn't seem too wet either. Got me stumped b/c I am good with plants. ( I buy the 1/2 dead clearance plants and make live). I even potted in Miracle Gro potting soil not the sandy cheap stuff.:))
Arborea don't like heat and they don't care to have their roots wet either. Could be your plant would rather be living in Canada or Maine. LOL! The leaves on mine are rimmed with black right now after having to endure two or three days of very high winds. I'd rather have your yellow leaves.
I have neighbors with beautiful brugs. Since my is only 3 ft tall I have it in a big pot. I think I will move it to a different part of the yard. We have really had great weather 55-60 at nights and 75-80 in the day. I would think that is perfect weather for anything. I know it is for me. Love spring.
