Now it's my turn to wait and wait...

This is buds on my H. imperialis. I don't know how many times - at least ten - I've found buds in my imperialis...but it has always aborted them... :((
It's when the buds have reached about this far that they usually shrivel up and fall. They turn a little reddish-brown and fall off.

So, pleeeease, whish me luck this time =)!

What shall I do to get flowers in my imperialis? Any ideas?

My H. wallichii on the other hand is a nice and kind hoya :) It opened up its buds today.

I can only notice very, very vague smell - hardly anything at all.

Thank you all. The wallichii is a bit of a comfort. But just a bit :)

While waiting for "the Big One" to make it, I can enjoy a "Little One". My memoria is blooming again. Soooo small and sweet-smelling flowers.

And here's buds on the same plant as above. Kind of funny picture I think, reminding of fireworks =)

Very pretty Lotta-I just love that colour! I can almost smell them from here. I agree, that spray of red reminds me if fireworks too.
