Bromeliads at Tedechi Vineyards at Ulupalakua Ranch Maui

Clyde/Fines Creek, NC(Zone 5b)

Some photo's from the road trip today of Bromeliads used in the landscape. Someone else will have to identify the species because I have no clue or time at the moment to look them up.

Ulupalakula is a beautiful place-the weather is so much cooler there, it was always so refreshing to go up there, I remember when they started to make that pineapple wine-thought it sounded so weird!
I used to live in Honokahau Valley, which is at the northern tip of west Maui-past Kapalua and Honoloa-have you ever gone over that way? Its very lush over there-there are so many micro climates on Maui-I think one of the reasons I never got rock fever lol always felt like you were in a different country climate wise.

Aloha nui loa Ilima, that first purple neo is da kine I like.......I love neoregelias. I'm putting some in my Hawaiian garden this summer. Even though it's in Iowa :-)
