i have this exact plant and just now was able to identify it through your picture. i'm wondering why the other photos in pf (check out the ones from palmbob) don't look like yours. mine is blooming for the first time since i received it last year. it is frost and freeze hardy when situated under my cedar trees.

edited to say blooming for the first time!

I have this plant, too, and it was labeled as a Gasteria hybrid called Little Warty (odd name since it is actually a fairly large plant). Here is mine:

Definitely NOt Gasteria croucheri. I think RWhiz is no longer an active member on this site.

palmbob, the link and picture you provided are nothing like the picture from rwhiz, not even a Gasteria. i'm confused. mine is identical to the one posted by rwhiz, a Gasteria of some kind.

The link Geoff posted is to my Euphorbia, however I think this plant is Gasteria Little Warty.

ok. i will label it as such. it doesn't take much to confuse me! *sigh* it is an odd name for a plant that is basically wartless. it isn't smooth but the bumps are very tiny. thanks!

Thank you all. The photo has been moved to the Gasteria 'Little Warty' entry.

Sorry, I was trying to post a photo this AM but the site was so slow I didn't have the patience to wait all morning... but here is another one, though I guess the controversy is over anyway.

yes it's over and you were right, of course! as was kniphofia. i'm glad to know what i have. our conversations regarding this plant help to make dg a better site-the best site-for gardening and gardening info.
