???to ship Begonia cuttings? I am trading with someone and want the cuttings to arrive in the bestest 8>) condition possible... What should I do? Cut and immediately ship....let harden...wet papertowels around the ends?

HELP!!!

When I ordered cuttings from Kays, she would wrap the bottom inch or 2 with very wet paper toweling and rubber band it. Then she placed it in a baggie of some sort
and filled with air. When I received them 3rd day priority, they looked like
they had just been cut, still fresh.

Thanks so much....!

Cut a toilet tissue tube lengthwise, & gently place it around the plant - this protects the leaves & stem from damage in shipping. You can tape the tube to the plastic covering the roots, to keep the stem stable. Toilet & paper towle tubes are a must for shipping delicate plants! (And cheap too) Sometimes I even tape the whole thing to the side of the box, to prevent it from bouncing around.
I agree - the damp tissue, covered in a plastic baggy, fastened with ribbon or a tie.
