YIKES...
I just saw that my calycina has been sitting overnight in about an inch of water (t's one of the pimpette's specimen plants in an 8" pot). Should I worry? Should I take it out of its pot and let it dry on some towels?
Thanks in advance!

H. calycina concern
I wouldn't worry about it, Ann. Just take it out of the puddle and it will be OK...Not to worry.
Whew, THANK YOU Ms. Pimpette!!!
Ann
BTW...HW. H. calycina is one of those hoyas that are water and food guzzlers. They grow so fast in their pots that I find I am repotting more than the others...or root pruning. Because of this, they usually require more warmth than "normal" (btw, what is normal?)...FYI.....
Thank you Carol for answering my question before I even asked.... =)
I was just looking at my calycina this morning because it doesn't grow so well. I was wondering if maybe calycina was a "heavy drinker" so I could increase the watering a bit. It was all dried up today. I'm not quite sure of the meaning of the word "guzzler" but I interpret it as "heavy drinker" sort of... ?

Another question: Does calycina like to sit in a little bit of water (i.e. does it mind having wet feet)?
Gee, I don't know. I shall ask mine. LOL
I wouldn't think so, Ann....most hoyas need air circulation around the roots...even tho I have had pots inside of pots outside with the bottom of the outside pot clogged and 10 feet of roots winding around in it. But...they got air!!!
