Thanks Janis. These plants can be funny doing what it wants. The white flower is opened wide now and looks lost on the plant. I just got this plant a few weeks ago from Laurie ! I am to grow it and give her the first baby. It's a Chimera and can only progate by sucker or bloom stalk leaves or basket. :))

What did you buy at the big sale !
I'm a bit better today, I only bought myself one begonia, a rare species from Bali, and some thing that is hot on the market today that I can't remember the name at the moment. Then I bought some plants for a friend who I'm meeting up with for a galloping gardener day.

My friend Kell and Calif_Sue joined up and came to the sale. They bought some real nice things. Kell bought the MUCH sought after begonia gerhtii. I have one, but they are AMAZING, and not easy to find. We had several big beauties. and I convinced her to buy 'Gypsy Maiden' and some others that I was drooling over. But I can always start myself some cuttings so I only bought the one Balinese species. It's a beauty!

Sounds like fun times ! Laurie how are your Hybicus ( SP?)the ones that were shipped here ? Mine has grown lot. No buds yet i don't think. I don't know how large it gets ? I sneak it a gallon of VF-11 every so often .
Mine are doing pretty good. I have them in the greenhouse, they've put on some new growth but no buds yet.
I'm so excited can't wait !
