Anyone with Erythroniums?

My first Erythroniums are flowering now (better late than never). Here is E. dens-canis.

Is that eight years from seed?

Yes..I am a patient gardener!

Well, Todd, you are lucky that I do not live near you as I
would raid your beautiful gardens, searching for the
Erythroniums in particular!

I have always wanted dens canis and others, but so far other things have won in favour! I do have Pagoda, now finished, but it has taken several years to increase after I split the original, there were 3 small bulbs in a pot. Only 2 grew on but I am always pleased to see them. i don't think I've seen seed on it, perhaps it's only the species that seed.

My Pagoda have never seeded either. Mine should be open in about a week or two. Huge clumps all over the garden...if all my Erythroniums multiplied like Pagoda, I'd be up to my ears in them!
