Morning, Allison. Today, I will be working with a couple of the plants you sent. One of them is Geisha Girl. At first I though she was a trailer because there are 4 crowns on her. Then I reread your information sheet and found out that she is not. I plan on separating the crowns today. I want your imput before I do. I wanted to check and make sure she is old enough to seperate the crowns. Aha! I just found two more small ones. So in all there are 6. The main one on top, two about the same size as the main crown, and three smaller ones. The small ones have leaves about 1/2 inch on the outer row.
Do you think it is OK to seperate all the crowns from the main plant?

Questions about Geisha Girl
Oh my goodness how'd she get all those suckers. lol
maybe she is a trailer want a be :))
You can do what ever you think best !
Geisha Girl (G. Durand) Single peach two-tone sticktite pansy/darker top petals. Dark green, pointed, quilted. Semiminiature
Well the mother is doing well and we have three good suckers and three nice size leaves set. The others were too small. I also found two additional suckers starting to form. I wonder why she is setting suckers instead of bud stocks? Maybe the shock of moving. I will watch her closely.
It is like performing a major operation to remove those tiny suckers. I love my tweezers. They do a great job.
You must be good at it. I lose a lot of them.
Let's see 3 out of 6 this time. 50%. Glad doctors are better than we are!
Oh gosh yes !
