Every Spring my St. Augustine front lawn looks really really awful. I use Scotts weed & feed for Southern Lawns and it seems to improve it just a bit .. now the weird thing, is by July, it will be all filled in and looking good. By September, it starts to look bad again. What's going on here?
Now the lawn on the side of the house always looks great .. I'm wondering if taking plugs from it and putting them in the front lawn would help?
Does anyone recognize a pattern here?
