shipping question i hope

Jackson, SC(Zone 8a)

i have been trying to find out the shipping regulations to canada for brugmansia rootings no dirt. i contacted the import agency and they sent me via email a 25 page rule book that made absolutly no sense to me.

i do not want to lie about whats in the box as i sent some things overseas and got in trouble for it. didnt know those were a no no ( they said they could send them back to me if i paid like 50.00 for them or they would destroy them. destroy them i said.

any way what are the regulations on this?? someone told me to put like garden effects on it but thats lying to me.

i owe this person these brug cuttings but it seems like it might not be a good idea on my part to send them.

any info welcome.

You cannot legally send any plant material into Canada without a phyto sanitary certificate. Edited to clarify. Seeds can be legally sent into Canada from all countries but not plant material.

Brugcrazy i think you cant send any plant material anywere.
Like you said seeds are another thing.
But all i will say is plants has been sent other places if you get my drift.

Yes, I've sent cuttings to the US, but I lie and also put something else in the package that I do declare. I've been lucky, others have had shipments destroyed or returned. Not sure I'd want to risk it again.

There was a time that you could legally send plants minus the dirt but that has changed..No plant life can be sent legally without the proper papers..Good Luck.
