Tour at DeGoede tulip gardens

Vancouver, WA(Zone 7a)

Hi all. Just thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures of DeGoede Bulb Farm and Gardens. They are located in Mossyrock, Washington. My husband and I were driving through on our way to Port Ludlow and happened upon their beautiful display. I didn't even know they were there...what a pleasant surprise! I hope you enjoy the pictures!

This first one is a close-up of a tulip called Fringed Elegans.

This windmill display was especially cute.

Another shot of the end of the garden path and the gazebo. The guy acting silly in the background is my husband. He was embarrassed because I made him carry my purse. :0)

The next three pictures are of the fields where they grow and harvest the bulbs.

Last one. If you're ever through Mossyrock in late April/early May (on the way to Mt. Ranier) make sure you stop by!

My goodness! Those are fabulous pictures. What a wonderful discovery while 'motoring' along!

I had to look up on the map where they are located--

Laura - those are gorgeous!

A friend and I will be going to Holland MI for the tulip festival on Saturday. We decided to do one of the tours the local travel agency offered so they can do the driving, parking and finding all the places to go! I just hope the weather holds out and is at the very least half decent! So I will probably have pictures to show too! We will be going on the first day of the festival and I'm betting it will be very crowded.
