Very groovy idea, I will have to go and read how they did this....
I've made something similar to this with a big dowel, Sphagnum, and mesh fabric from the sewing dept. @ WM or wherever you buy your fabric, etc.....then wrapped it around the dowel with fishing line.
I like that idea, too, but the wire mesh would rust, wouldn't it?
I didn't exactly 'stuff' mine.....I just placed the mesh on the floor, then some sphagnum on top of the mesh, then the dowel, then placed sphagnum around and on top of the dowel, then *wrapped* it up.
I should take a photo of it...will try to.
Yes...I think the chicken wire would rust...unless galvanized. Any good wirecloth would do.
