Carol, I seen that the other day. That is why I asked everyone if they could see any real difference in using this product. What the heck is that other stuff they are getting all excited about?

Carol,
What are you doing ordering all that messenger when your not growing hoya any more? I ordered some of it, now can somebody please tell me if they saw a difference in there plants????

Not growthing THAT MUCH/MANY new plants... But I have 12 acres of plantings and new ones coming in all the time... Messenger DOES work and it works well. I may sell it here in HI... The other stuff...Mighty Plant or whatever, is a very strong triple 18. I figger I can use it half strength...9-9-9 and it will go further on 12 acres. As long as your soil is god and your fertilizer is good, Messenger works beautifully. It is when you have a bad fert (like I did with Osmocote) and bad medium (with salts) that when Messenger works well, (enhances nutrient uptake) it is a bugger. :>)

Carol...did you determine that it was just the coir that was causing the salts problem? Also, do you still use the orchid bark mixed in? What was the probablem with the Osmocote? Many people swear that is great stuff. I have used it on other things but not on the hoyas (cause I use so much else on them..ha).
I don't understand a co-op at all, but guess I should take advantage of the Messenger price.

March LOL I don't either. Well I understand it but I can't figure out all the prices, postage, paypal I just D-mailed her and she added up my amount and I will get a check off to her today. Looks like a great price. YOu should hurry as the last one she did went very quick, and it closed befor a lot of people could get in on it.

My winter problem was : Osmocote that did not release slowly but in bits and spurts, Coir which reabsorbed the salts from the Osmocote, cool/cloudy weather which didn't help. The Messenger was NOT to blame...it just did its' job so the plants absorbed the salts very well!!!

I now use fine Orchid Bark in my mix instead.
