while im posting,i was reading one of your post about putting leaves down,well before i had read robs far leaves i put down 15 all rotted but 6, so i tooked the covers off them, going to try some more,
did i understand right don,t cover and water when they need it
We really don't need to cover them living in Florida. I don't cover anything it would rot.
I just use real light soil mix. I use at least 50 percent perlite. I use 2,3 5 oz. cups or small pots are fine too. Put a hole in the bottom, lable fill to the top with soil mix, cut the stem short . One inch or shorter. I like to stick mine right into the middle of the cup until the leaf is touching the soil. Water threw real good. Then put in the window ( non buring ) or plant stand any light lamp, under the stove hood . I water them a little when every needed . Hot days need watering more often .
Before you know it you will have many healthy babies !
