Before and After Water Garden Garden Pics

I cant find the original post I started on the water garden/fish pond, so here is an update of what it looked like and then today. I am not done with it but this is what it looks like so far.

This pond is made from a Hot Tub and wanted to turn it into a fish pond. So what you are looking at is the tub now made into a fish pond.

Sure would like to see it closer and bigger.

Oh can I jump your thread ;) This picture is in the beginning!!! A big tree came down and left a hole in the landscape, well I said POND!!!

This was after getting it all installed. I didn't know what to do for plants as the ground is all hard dry clay! I was just happy to have it in place!!!

This was taken in Spring of 2004 I installed a bog garden next to the pond and a sedum garden at the end. The water iris were soo small!

By July of 2004 I had a jungle! The iris and other water plants got huge and so did everything else in the area! Worst part were the wild raspberry brambles and another vine that just kept crawling into the area!!!

This is the pond today and it is about to go through an overhaul!

This small upper pond is going to be moved and is going to be turned into a biological filter. One of the super members on DG gave me a 125 gallon liner. We are going to put that in the spot where this small pond is and then put the small pond/bio filter over that. The larger pond is going to get a skimmer in it and those iris are going to be divided!!!!
