Hi..I am new to DG...have never seen this Parrot's Beak before and I feel I must have this plant. I live in zone 7....is it able to stand our winters and if so, where do I locate this plant to purchase or trade? Thanks, Karen

I would think it would have to be an inside plant where you are. They are found in nurseries here. I bet you could find one for sale if you google it.

Hey, i am also in NorCal z9b, where an you find this plant for sale? I've tried doing a google search with no luck. Is is sold at big box stores like Home Depot or Lowes?

It shows up at different nurseries. I just got a huge plant of it for $10 at the end of November. It seems to be doing great so far outside on my porch, still flowering. I am going to put it into a huge pot in spring. If I were you I would ask a favorite nursery to order it for you when they see it.

This is perhaps my favorite groundcover.
I am in zone 6 and know that it would be impossible for me to overwinter lotus vine in the ground but, I do have an unheated garage that doesn't get below freezing. do you guys think it would be worth it to try to overwinter it? how much water would it require in a dorment state?thanks
