Can't find bottom of my caladiums feel like dummy-Help!

I can possibly see the eye but cannot decide which side is up or down will it matter so much-HELP!

The bottom of a Caladium is always more smooth than the top. Rule of thumb.......if in doubt, plant on it's side.

The bottom is generally rounded. I planted 3, the top of some had a slight hollow and/or remnant of a stem, and small roundish bulbs around it on which you should be able to see eyes.. The old roots are mostly around the top area.
