Cearbhaill...... questions for you.....

Could you please check out the thread I started "puppy pictures of Pebbles" and then please give me some recommendations? I read your replies to the other thread about getting clippers. I went to the pages you recommended, and read them. What would you recommend for a dog like Pebbles?

The clippers I used when I did horses were huge - probably a foot long with a 3 or 4 inch cutting end. But I remember that I started on the leg, worked upward. Then, started at tail and worked forward, going against the hair grain. I am puzzled to how I would do ears, head and ahhh... private areas on a dog. When I did my horses, it was just to help them shed out the winter coat... I didn't trim everywhere on them! LOL!

Is this something that I could get the clippers and what ever clipper accessories you would recommend and attempt myself? Or would you say I should try to find a groomer to let me see how it is done first?
