I love the Canna Lau....great name...LOL! I had one come up that is pretty wild. At first I thought it was sickly because it looked like the leaf was all yellow... By mid afternoon, I noticed that the yellow had a faint green variegation. I'm keeping an eye on it to see what it does next...it may just be this one leaf...or it may be the whole thing is going to be yellow with pale green stripes. I'll keep ya'll posted when it gets more foliage on it...or the current foliage opens up more.
Bama....post this on the canna forum...I bet lot's of people would like to see it! I think there's even a thread concerning canna lau....

I figured out that this is just an odd leaf on a green vareigated canna. It has a leaf coming up beside it off the same blub that is green with yellow stripes. I"m thinking it might have turned this color because it sat in a pot with no soil wiating for me to plant it. It would be cool if I could get it to stay this way, though..
pretty sure its bengal tiger it has yellow leaves with green veins. Was fairly common though if you had it last year you should have easily noticed.
I just moved in to the house and have not had a yard in six years, so my sis brought me a bunch of things from her yard. When I showed her this yellow one, she said she didn't remember it.
