my sad camellia

Can anyone help me? My son wanted to pick a camellia today for me and for the first time this season I noticed that the leaves are turning dark brown with brown spots on it. The tips of the flower are turning brown also. I am assuming there is a virus that has attacked my beautiful shrub, but I'm not sure what it is and how to treat it.
Please advise this novice gardner. Thank you for your help.
