Great picture. Gator's pride is one of my favs. Unfortunatley I lost it over the winter to root rot and will be replacing it.

I've got Gator's Pride on order! My sis sent me a website where you can buy hibiscus in liners for $2.95 each! This was one of the first I put in my shopping cart! I also ordered Aztec Sun, In Paradise, Jamilou, Purple Magic, Symphony, and Yellow Fringes. Can't wait!

The color combo is stunning!

Alexandria, VA(Zone 7b)

That is absolutely gorgeous! I love purple & peach together, I bought 'Rumrunner' last year because of that color combo, overwintered it, but it's still puny right now...I need it to heat up around here! Thistle

Wow Willow - your hibiscus choices are beautiful - I especially love the "Gator" one. Are thoser hardy in your area? I have to settle for the hardy hibiscus here, whoch are very nice but no where near the exoticness or color range you can enjoy with yours.

Ocean Springs, MS(Zone 9a)

OK...gotta go get some more hibiscus. Just like the ones you have...they are just toooo gorgeous.

Bamabelle....where is that website?
Willowwasp....what is the name of that last purple one you posted? Did you mean it's name is "Today", or that it bloomed today?

I am new to this particular forum, but I have lots of tropical hibiscus. I love them.
Thanks
Marcy

This is one of mine called "Wedding Day"

Wow Marcy that is a real beauty. The one that is more purple is still "Gators Pride" it is just a bit warmer now and the color has changed somewhat. Also it is a little deeper when it opens then the end of the day.
I am going to try and do some cuttings on it later in the fall just to see if I can. Of course this will be for my own use.

I will look up some of the sites that sell these beauties and see if I can find some that are reasonable and I will post them here...
