I just had to share this...Allison are you looking? This flower size I would say is comparable to your Silver Wings. Now this AV has bloomed before but it has never looked this beautiful! I transplanted it and I am sure that is what made all the difference.
I just LOVE this flower and I have never seen anything so very beautiful! It measures 2 3/4 inches!

What is it's foliage like ?

Thank you so much! The flower is a very soft pink. I found a photo of the same plant before I transplanted it with a flower on it as well. What a difference and the flower is much bigger...it is obviously very happy and has rewarded me!

I have no idea where I got it...had it for a long time and it hasn't been performing at all so I stripped a lot of the leaves off of it and repotted it and voila! It loves me now just as much as I love it...LOL!
I still love that silver wings of yours and I am going to look for it at the show in Calgary on Friday....my first AV show and I am so very excited. I have my camera charged and ready to go.

Silver Wings is an oldie Vintage I have not see many around , a few on Ebay lately . I gave several leaves away last year to people in Canada but don't know if they grew plants ?
