Hi Liz...

Mine are just starting to show their little flower heads.. but then I'm an entire zone colder than you are.

I'm one of those cusp babies, boarding 8b and 9a, just south of Gainesvilles but I'm so fortunate to ge their weather..lol, but you are definetly colder than I am. I welcome you to Spring, ma'am.
I guess you were a little chilly the other night..
When do your Globbas begin sprouting? Mine just started a week or so ago.
My Scadoxus (Blood Lilies) are beginging to sprout and bloom, I know that Spring is really here when they start coming up.
What gingers do you have?
Do you ever get down this way?

Liz,
I use to live over your way.. Green Cove Springs.. got divorced and moved wayyyyy over to the other side of the state 2 years ago now. When I moved my globbas were still dormant and they didn't get dug up so I am globba less now. I had at least 5 varieties thanks to JuJaxFl.. she was my gardening buddy over there before she moved and I moved.

I have lots of different curcumas, hedychiums. You can see some of what I have here at this link: http://mzmunchken.com/Gingers/gingers.htm

If you ever have more globbas than you want, please keep me in mind.
