I stopped by Mac's Greenhouse in Woodstock yesterday. He has four-packs of perennials for $2.99. Starting to get a good selection of herbs in and some annuals. Pansies were on sale for $10 a flat. They looked very healthy and he had a good color selection.
Among the things I found in the perennial packs were knautia, delphiniums, several varieties of coneflower. There were others but my feeble mind isn't remembering. LOL

Don't cha just hate it when you're traveling w/folks who aren't "plant people" and you see a great spot? My kids just groan...it's so sad...LOL "Maaa - ham, not ANOTHER plant place...pleeeease you'll be foreverrrr." They'll even try bartering "Mom, I'll clean my room - promise IF you don't stop there."
