Blooming at last

It took this thing 2 1/2 years to send up this bloom spike. I'm hoping now with the bloom I'll be able to get it I.D. This is a VERY hardy brom having withstood hours of temps in the low 20's.

I have this also, don't know the name right off the top of my head but will get it for you. they are very cold hardy and even like the sun, I grow mine out in full sun where do you grow yours?

I like your bed... Mine is out in full sun the brown on the tips is freeze burn. The other one that I found to do well is Queen's Tears.. that lives in the "swamp" and bloomed when we were having night time lows in the lower to mid 30's.

I'd appreciate the name of this one when you remember it so I can tag the plant. Thanks!
