On the next rainy day (assuming we will finally have some rain to end this prolonged drought in NE Florida!), I plan to pull up about a 15 ft square patch of variegated Vinca Major (blue flowering). I tried it as a ground cover in my front blue/white themed garden, but its growth habit is a bit too tall and gangly to suit my tastes for a ground cover. I'll be moving some of it to other spots in the garden, but there will be plenty to share for SASE. All the Vinca Major I have came from a couple of small pots -- it does spread easily as a ground cover.
