CLOSED: Seeds for US stamps or zip-lock baggies

oiartzun-near san se, Spain(Zone 8a)

IF ANYBODY ELSE IS INTERESTED IN THESE SEEDS, PLEASE POST TODAY. THREAD CLOSES TOMORROW!

STOP PRESS!! I have now been able to add many veg. seeds to this list, if anybody is interested in these. These are mainly opened packets of this year's catalogue-bought seeds, with a few of the seeds removed - ie planted in my veg patch. As the packets always have far more seeds than I need for my small patch, I hope some of you might be able to use them. The trading instructions are the same as for the flower and herb seeds, except that in the case of heavy bean and pea seeds I would have to ask for an extra dollar postage. Thanks.

Here are the original trade instructions and lists:
I need to renew my supply of US stamps, so that I can participate in the SASE offers on here and in Sheran's swaps. If anyone wants to trade from outside the US, I need ziplock baggies and /or glassine envelopes for sending seeds in too - can't find anywhere selling them here in Spain. It costs me roughly 1dollar and 80cents to send up to 4 seed trades to the US in a bubble envelope, so if you want to trade, I'm asking you to send me 1dollar and 80 cents-worth of US stamps in an envelope with your name, DG name, address and selection of up to 4 trades from the following list inside it. Please also post your choices on here, so that I can update the list - first come, first served. Hope that is clear and fair - please just ask if you have any doubts.

Berrygirl and Tanya, I sent your seeds off at the beginning of the week, (Monday 8th),so you should be getting them soon. Robin and Janis, I haven't received your envelopes yet - as soon as I do I'll send them off - they're all ready and waiting! Skgibson, I have replied to your dmail requesting many packets of flower seeds, but have not heard back from you yet. Could you please confirm you are still interested, and I'll reserve them for you. Thanks.

Lakemont, GA(Zone 8a)

Maggi,
I got my seeds today- thank you so much for the trade.

Is it too late to sow the seeds this yr or should I wait til next year?

oiartzun-near san se, Spain(Zone 8a)

So glad they arrived safely Berrygirl. I'm really not sure about sowing times in your zone, but I would suggest planting half the seeds now, although it's rather late, and saving the other half in a cool, dry place for planting earlier next year if necessary. Good luck!

Sorgina,

I just received the seeds today; thank you very much. The postage is on the way to you with some other things inside; I just like to send more than one thing if it's a long trip.

btw; Skgibson is only a member, not a subscriber; so you have to find the Dmail she sent you & send her a message back & look for replies there. Skgibson's Page: http://davesgarden.com/members/Skgibson/
