My son has this plant growing up and around a tree in Sugar Land just sould of Houston. The roots are growing into the bark. I took some of it and now have it in water. Would like to know the name. I may not even have it in the correct forum.

No problem. It looks like a pretty common one, but I don't know a specific name. Sugar Land... that's right near me. I'm in Houston, but very near Sugar Land.
Yes Carter such a nice place to live, beautiful weather. I would love to live there. But my DH has other ideals. He likes Kansas. And no one knows why.
I vote with Carter too. Sugar Land is my stomping ground as Richmond Texas doesn't have much commerce yet. Richmond is SW of Sugar Land.
