I planted this last year but it did not do too well - only one lonely bloom out of a dozen bulbs. I think the bed may not have been as well-drained as needed for bulbs. I planted this in my grandmother's memory, and it's so pretty, so I think I'll give it another shot.

I gave some of these bulbs to a friend who lost a daughter obviously called Jenny - that's the beauty of named flowers like this - they are perfect for remembrance tributes. Yes do give it another go, it's one of my favourites.
