I just got the word from the client that I just completed the table set for that they want to proceed with the next design! It is a 9 1/2 foot long Faux Bois bench that will be executed in the the old "camp" or "lodge" furniture style. It was designed to go in the front of their new house between a couple of large square cedar posts.
It will involve a much more complicated welded steel frame than the table. It was all straight lines where this one will involve a lot of compound curves.
Here are a couple of the design sketches. The first is the revised final design. The second is the original which was slated to be 11 1/2 feet, but shows how the arms and legs connect a little better.
I just hope that the very welcome warm weather doesn't bring quite so many hurricanes this year and I can get it done in the next 12 to 14 weeks.
