I have 5 well-rooted stevia http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/316/index.html cuttings that I would like to trade for cuttings or divisions that are hardy in zone 6. The stevia have done well as a houseplant and should survive outside in zone 8. I would like some strong climbing vines to cover the arbor we plan to build this summer or interesting perennials that will survive hot, dry weather.
Oh, I almost forgot, I'm also looking for interesting herbs for cooking or herbal tea. And anything that smells like chocolate.

CLOSED: Have stevia, want vines, bamboo, perennials
Katlian,
I see stevia, I find a way to get some. Can I offer you some Loofa vines, started from seed 2 months ago, getting ready to shoot out a vine stem. They actually grow loofa sponges. You will have an endless supply to use and share. http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/60227/index.html I have 4 of these, can part with 3. Shoot, I have more seeds too.
I also have 1 Double Blue Pea Vine, just coming back from winter. These perform well throughout the summer. I would also throw in some seeds for cardinal climbers. The red flower attracts hummingbirds and looks so patriotic with the Blue Pea flowers. http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/21628/

Interestingly, the double blue says it's an annual and hardy to zone 10-11. I brought mine up from zone 10b this past winter, planted 2 in the ground and they are coming back now. Our lowest temps for 4 hours was 17. Our ground doesn't freeze, but the skim layer of water on the bird bath does.
Drought tolerant perennial. How about a gaillardia Fanfare?
Let me know if I have tempted you.

:^)))
I also have some bronze fennel you might like.

Katlian,
I also am a Stevia nut!!! I have hops that will cover your arbor in no time and I also have a great Chocolate mint if you are interested!

Katlian,
For some reason, I can't open the mail you sent me last night. Could you resend it please? I hope it said you would like to trade!
Thanks,

Sunlover and Katlian,
The d-mail system is not working properly today. We have a notice to Dave on it, but I don't think he works here on Sunday.
Maybe post here or wait until tomorrow about this trade?

P.S. Katlian, did you dmail me again on this?
I re-sent dmails today. I hope you get them.
I still have a couple of plants, any more takers?
I'm into Stevia! I had two little seedlings I've been nurturing and my 18 mo. old scratched them out of pot.
Vines, Herbs or chocolate . . . hmmm.
How bought some really nice chocolate? :)
I'd like stevia if you still have some.
You can choose from this list:
orange trumpet vine (talk about strong!)
white datura (moonflower)
hyacinth bean vine *seeds*
culinary sage
red ruffled basil
blue mist flower
zebrina hollyhock
artemesia Oriental Limelight
chocolate mint
spearmint
peppermint
...& some kind of mint that baffles me, neither I nor my neighbors have figured out exactly what it smells like: some days we think orange, some days we think apple, some days we scratch our heads.
That's all of them. Thanks for trading.
