Calla Culture

I just bought a bag of 10 mixed callas at WalMart, for use in containers (I'm doing several balconies and decks this year). I'm planning to grow them to planting size as I would a tuberous begonia. Any quick cultural advice? And are there ways to tell what the colour is going to be when the plant is still immature?

I also have a named 'Picasso' for a special customer. I'm doing a purple and white combination with Purple Majesty pennisetum, white camellia begonias and the Picasso as the main features.

sounds like a wonderful plan. I LOVE Picasso--just had to have it. Bought it from Easy to GRow BUlbs last Jan. or so. growing well, no blooms yet. I planted it w/ some puple and some white DLs, also have African daisies in the vicinity.

I think you're gonna have to wait til they bloom before IDing.
