MY Russian Baby ! Ek-Snezhnyi Bars " Snow Leopard"

"Snow Leopard" Semidouble-double white star with lilac eye,and frilled violet edge. Medium green pointed foliage. Standard
She's pleasing me giving me joy each day. Growing and blooming . I broke another on of her large leaves off the other day :(( I am waiting on rings from Rob's for her heavy large foliage.
This picture has new flowers and old flowers. So nice each flower stalk give me 6-12 beautiful flowers long lasting !
Flowers on the right still from first blooms. one stalk many spent ones have been taken off.

These are older flowers from first blooming on on flower stalk. Under them is hiding some new big flower buds !

Here I am holding the flowers up see the new buds underneath ! The plant is full of them :))
This is not an old plant. It a young plant grown by one leaf I bought last Fall. And have shared a few of her sisters all came from the one Russian Leaf. !

Here I removed that one flower stalk off to let the new buds get light and grow.
She is a good size plant about 12 inches across but I can't fine a tape.

I put the flower stalk into a vase !

I only had one leaf, and I have one blooming plant. Laurie has a plant that grew right up with the same Mim leaf as mine ! Her's has green stripes !
And April her plant came and grew with the same Mom leaf with ours were waiting on her plant to surprise us ! Will they look a like !

More flowers each flower stem has 6 or more buds. If they could all open together !

Some open small then get larger with age. They do last a long time !

Laurie did you see Snow Leopard ? How is your's doing ?

Still blooming and has one other bloom stalk but it's small. Colors have faded so now it appears white with slight lavender accents at the petal edges and center. Hmmm?

I'm not sure if they all are Joanne. I had bought one Russian leaf last year one with green in the flowers. I had bought another one with green too and it died :( Well they were out of the leaf. Instead of credit I asked her to send me any other Russian leaf. I think they were like $4.75 a leaf then. And she sent me Snow Leopard. At the time they were not selling this plant. The leaf was really small. She told me the leaves don't get big. hhhmmm . I was expecting her to be all white beacause of her name. Until I fount her on the Russian sight and this year Bluebirds sell it. But their's is not anywhere as Spectacular and colorful as mine :)) I am really lucky she is a good bloomer, she's really just a big baby.
Laurie seems most flowers fade with age. I did notice when I had nice green stripes in mine they faded. But maybe it wants to be a green stripe bloomer !

Thanks Jesse ! I broke another leaf off by accident the other day :(( But today I got a ring in the mail from Violet Barn for her. Her foliage has got large and heavy and I think this will help !

How do you like using the rings? I was thinking of letting my space babies get bigger and put them in bigger pots using the rings. So how do you like them?

It's the first time I ever used them. I just got them today. I have this plant and another plant larger in a 6 inch pot and a Large grower. So sense I just got them a couple hours ago not sure. But I put them on and they do seem like they will help.
When I belonged to local group I wanted to buy some and this guy in the group told me they were not needed don't waste my $$$. I guess a lot of people don't use them ? They only cost a couple dollars.
They are holding up the large heavy leaves !
If you take a plant to show it can not have one on.

So they are not allowed on show plants? I've never been to a show before so I wouldn't know. I would love to go to a show. How do you find out if there is going to be a show in your area? I would love to go.

I have been waiting so long for my First Class. First they got the information wrong (something about my address) and so they did not send it but did not bother to tell me. So I got that cleared up and then they said they would mail it out to me. That was a couple weeks ago. I keep wondering if I'm ever going to get it. Hopefully it will get here soon.
