Passel o' Plants for ID please...

Modesto, CA(Zone 8b)

Hi AV Mavens!

Here are some of my NOIDs. Their smiling bloomy faces are beckoning to you for names! (IF they have names! :~D)
Thanks to all for checking in to check them out!

Karen

This first one is a large plant, measuring 14" across.

Number two is medium sized, measuring 8" across, but I think it's not quite as big as it might get.

Number 3 is a mini. Measuring 6" across. Isn't she pretty? Do you like my $1.25 Salvation Army stemware pot?

Number 4 seems mid-to large to me. It is about 9" across, but there are 3 plants in this pot. It belongs to Mom, but she didn't want me to divide them while it was blooming so pretty!

Thanks for lookin' everyone!

Happy belated birthday Karen! you can always name them 'noid' ________ fill in the blank with your own name.

Critter and I have a noid girl leaf. She calls hers, noid Rosie Girl and I named mine after hers, noid Rosie's Girlfriend.

I have never had named AVs. Just plants from leaves of friends plants that I liked. The name isn't so important, really. I can't decide which is my favorite, the mini red or the large purple. That is of course, until the plants Allison sent me catch up.....then all bets are off! I am having a lovely time putting them into cute little Salvation Army treasures. At 75 cents to $1.50 you just can't beat it! Even DH can't find anything to complain about with those prices! Here are some others in creative watering pots......a tea pot.....a tea cup.....a creamer. The front row are Allison babies. The back one........who knows?

Oh, missed your post Begonia, thank you! I had a lovely day.

I like the teapot pot too Planti. That one has a really UGLY flower on the other side so I turn it to the wall! I get bored easy, so I like to mess with things. As if I can improve on pretty AV flowers! One thing to watch out for, the openings can be odd sizes. I was thinking about keeping several sizes of plasic AV pots in my car, then when I stop (garage sales, Salvation Army, whatever) I can check the openings. When the openings are too big, I place the potted AV on an upside down pot inside the "creative" pot. That works ok. And the wicks just hang down inside, easy peasy!
