My little Jelly Bean newborn field mouse has just died. I was going to take some photos for you all to see how small he was. The size of a jelly bean candy. He kept me awake the whole night as he needed to be fed every two hours and I was afraid to sleep and forget to feed him. Sad day for me.
Oh Anna I just want to cry. I am so sorry. Now he is in Heaven :))
oh no, Allison. Don't be sad. It happens all the time with very young animals. It is worse when a little baby is attacked by a cat and left very injured. At least baby Jelly Bean was not in pain.
I bet he is already pestering the angels up there!

i am sorry anna! i still remember as a child my daddy bailing hay in the pasture and cutting up a bunny nest. i took one of the babies home and it died and i cried all day! we also lost a batch of kittens last october all five died. but on the brighter side a batch were born last week and they are opening their eyes today.
