Second pic
You can put a bunch of pics in one thread but replying to your own posts. :)
Yeah, but then the pics don't show up on the thread and i wanted to show them all off. LOL! I'm bad......but this is the coolest thing I have ever grown so I can't help but be proud.
Looks like a lot more hands to come!!!
Yep... I definitely think I'm going to have to stake it soon. Tht means gettign a taller ladder first of all. Then maybe driving an eye bolt into the eaves of the house. That is the only way I can think of to stake it. Fortuantely, it is well protected form the wind....however from what I read a bunch this large can weigh 125 lbs...and I don't think the tree has the girth to hold that much weight. The wood on this house is hard as a rock...we can't even drive nails into the walls (we have wood slat walls, the house is 115 years old) becaue they bend when we try. We have to drill a starter hole, then screw in a wood screw. Usually when we hang pictures we end up running them between the slats. As long as I don't run into any wood rot under the eaves, it ought to hold her...I hope.
Your picture is gone again. LOL
Yeah, I noticed that. At least this time I get a box with a red X in it. Before I just got the 'click on thumbnail' message and nothing came up. They are working on it. If they are installing the new server, it might be transferring data from one server to the next. I design and maintain the webpage for my hubby's consulting practice and we have had lots of similar probnlems when our web host adds a server or switches us to another one.
Now where were you a couple of months ago when I needed a website? LOL
Hiding! I use Microsoft Front Page. It is as easy as Word and you can copy and paste froma Word docuement. David's website has over 300 pages to it and is a booger to maintain...especially when he changes his mind six months after Ihave updated it from top to bottom! Then there are the arguemtns that revovle aroudn his being an analytical left brained statistician, and me being a right brained artist. He thinks it ought to look one way, and as an artist, I refuse to do it his way. LOL! Fortuantely, he has decided to learn to use Front Page so he can start maintaining it hismelf. He had hired two different web designers over the year and both of them screwed him. Then I married him and taught myself to use Front Page. If I can do it, he darn sure can! It really is easy to use...there are glitches, like any MSFT product, but you can work around them. I'll Dmail you his website so you how it looks and see if you want to use it. It has a lot of features we don't use. A lot of our clients are using workstations without sound cards or video cards...some don't have high speed conncetins, so we keep it low tech so it will load quickly.
