I've seen people posting about bees and moths pollinating their brugs and getting crosses. I am wondering if I need to be very cautious about who is next to who when they are put out in the yard, which is probably going to be in the next day or so.

pollination by mother nature
I imagine a bee or moth can skip a brug or 2 and jump to one that smells the best to them. Some brugs seem to get so many wild pods, and others not a one.
If you are going to cross some for yourself, you need to catch them before any thing else has a chance to pollinate, then seal the bloom after if you want to be real safe. I use masking tape to shut mine.
I hadn't really thought about crossing them myself, and I may be way early wondering about this, since most of mine are just about a foot tall right now. LOL I guess I'll just put them out and see what happens.
