This is the largest plant I have seen, growing in the front of someone's yard in Beverly Hills, California

That tree is at least 50 years old... but could be more, as there are probably a number of Chamaerops that old in this area and I have never seen one this big.

Well taken care of tree. Looks like it has to be supported on one trunk. Also, usually old trees like this lose the fiber and old frond stubs to expose the core at the base. This one is still fully intact. Good photo.
