That tree is at least 50 years old... but could be more, as there are probably a number of Chamaerops that old in this area and I have never seen one this big.

Well taken care of tree. Looks like it has to be supported on one trunk. Also, usually old trees like this lose the fiber and old frond stubs to expose the core at the base. This one is still fully intact. Good photo.

Wow that is some palm! Beautiful speciman; but what do you expect for So Cal- great climate for growing many, many things!
