Sweet Zack. Love him
Nice set up and cute dog, Jesse!! One of our dogs is a Border Collie/Aussie Shepard cross and she is a smart one. They have a lot of energy, don't they?
Jacki
great dog and companion
Yes just like Bob said " great dog and companion "
My little girl beacause I am disabled has been with me 24 hours a day sense she was 8 weeks old except during Hurricane Charley when the Doctor put me into the Hospital and she had to go with her sister to my brother and sister-in laws. Gosh Wow were those girls glad to be home. Never again will I leave her.
What do you do with your dog Jesse when you travel ?
WOW you have a hugh collection of plants fancy set-up WOW.
Jesse,
What a very nice setup you have, and beautiful AVs! Zack is a cutie, and looks very energetic. My son and daughter each have dogs that come to visit, so we have a doggie toybox that used to be a wrought iron planter. LOL

Beautiful set up!
what happened with your dog when you went to Ca for one month?
Really a pretty dog and very nice picture taking.
That brought a smile to my face. Sweet dog!
When we go to CA we have to board him and I really don't like to do that. It is expensive and he does not get the special care and attention that he gets at home. But at least we found a good kennel. He has been there twice and one time to a place that is part of Petsmart. When he stayed with Man's Best Friend, he did great. At the other place he lost a lot of weight. So if he cannot go to Man's Best Friend, then I do not go. Some people may think of this as stupid or as choosing my dog over my husband, but I do not look at it that way. The way I see it, Zack is totally dependent upon me and the care I give him. He is helpless to take care of himself because that is the way we have raised him. So with that in mind, DH and I can survive it a whole lot better than Zack can.
What we would like to find is someone to come and water the plants and take the dog out a few times per day. That way he could stay at home. We just don't know who to get to do this. We would gladly pay them because we want to make sure that he is taken good care of. This is also one of the reasons that I did not move to AU to marry my DH but instead he came here. If I had gone there, they would have put him and Josh (who was still with us at that time) in Quarantine for 180 days, at our expense. AU and NZ do not have rabies in their countries so their laws are really strict. So instead of me going there, he came here. But it all worked out for the best.

You husband is from out of the Country ? Boarding can be expensive $100.00 a day . Gosh poor baby when you were gone a month :(( Too bad you can't just take him with you.
Yes, my DH is from Australia. We met online many years ago and became best friends and were best friends for many years. We eventually fell in love with each other but would not tell each other because we knew there would never be a way for us to be together. Well, never say never and think things are impossible because he took out a loan just to fly over here and marry me and we have been happily married for 4 yrs and 5 months.
I really do hate to leave my Zackary for so long. I am almost tempted to take him with me. He is classified as a service animal and I could take him but I will see what happens in the future. We are so unsure right now and never know from one day to the next if he is going to have a job or not.
