Happy Birthday!!!
Happy birthday! (Nery, you've got a point. Maybe next year we should have a big party.)
How 'bout we have one next weekend? :-)
Yeah, let's make it centralized, like... College Station!
Yeah, yeah, that would be a very nice celebration.
Hi y'all. Thanks for the b-day wishes. I spent my birthday in Round Top, and just HAD to go by the Antique Rose Emporium on my way back to Houston today. There's not a better place I know of to spend birthday money!! I got (Caldwell Pink) a replacement for a rose I lost when I left town for hurricane Rita (it fried after 2 weeks with no water), and a new pink one -- Belinda's Dream -- not an antique, but pretty just the same. I couldn't resist some old fashioned petunias they had on sale for $0.75, plus nicotiana. I had a good time. Nery, I have seen pics of your mums on here. Glad you got yours to live. Mine didn't make it. How did yours fare, Marylyn? >> Bronwyn
I totally agree, that was a great way to spend your birthday. Congrats on your new babies!
Hi, Bronwyn! My mums from Donna have done pretty well. They actually DID bloom in the fall when I expected them too, and are blooming again now. Now that the neighbor's ash tree has leafed out they aren't getting much sun anymore, so I don't expect them to bloom for much longer. How are you doing? I haven't seen you on here for a while. :-)
~ Marylyn
Hi Marylyn, I've just been busy, and haven't been looking at the site lately. Spring always brings me to think of blooming things. The rest of the year, I just try to keep my pots alive! I really have no more room on my patio. If I buy one more pot, the others will suffer, so I try to abstain. My Mums all died when I left town for hurricane Rita. I hate that. I bet yours are pretty. Post a pic if you have one. B.
