JoleneS thanks for posting! Pretty colors and nice photos. It is great you can grow tulips outside! Here in Massachusetts we have so many deer I haven't tried tulips outside in a few years.

Love your bleeding hearts in your tulip bed. Really a nice 'color echo' and I'll have to remember that for next spring!

Did the snow come after your pink tulips were in bloom? Did they survive?

The tulips seem only somewhat harmed but the bleeding heart is really suffering. It looks like some of the stems were broken by the heavy snow. Seems to happen every year. Hopefully I'll remember to keep a small card table handy to protect it. That might look a little silly for a short time but could provide the needed protection.
