I have Snuggles little Dreamer. I have had a dickens of a time with crown suckers. Right now, because it is blooming I have 4 crown suckers growing on the plant. I have it in a two inch pot. Maybe it would grow better in a three inch.

Anyone have some ideas

Sorry for jumping in on your thread Spidy. Do you have the mother plant or just the leaves of SLD?

Lilburn, GA

Nana, this thread is for everyone.

I just have the leaves, not the plant. Are the flowers beautiful?

Is the plant roots large enough for a 3 inch pot ? It's a semi-miniature so it should be about 6-8 inch across at maturity. A 2.50 inch pot would be a good size.
If you like the suckers keep them if not take them off.
Good idea not to let suckering plant go on the dry side, they get nervouse and sucker. I also find growing them in natural light or end of light tubes helps.
If it's the plants nature it's going to sucker no mater what. I grew a couple of them for friends I don't recall them suckering ?

Rob's Slap Happy

Will keep checking for more!

Yes share your secret!

No secret at all. Most of the leaves were potted in late Feb so, it is about time they decide to pop out. The latest are from beginning of March. I just keep them moist, not wet, give them some food and keep an eye on them.

Oh and count me in on the fall trade!!!
