Well this looks like the place to ask!
My local garden center always has a fantastic supply of beautiful potted hibiscus plants which I'm always drawn to.
I have a lot of house plants in my office where they do really well under a mixture of flourescent and natural light and even temps.
Would a hibiscus perform in these conditions? I don't want to buy one and watch it decline...
Newbie questions
I keep mine in the basement in the winter & under flouresent lights, It is kind of kool but they still bloom. As long as you give them some plant food & keep them from drying out they should do ok.
You will have a lot of leaves drop but that is normal. Your office should be warmer than my basement so you should have plenty of blooms.
Jerry.
