I laughed today when I checked out the garden yesterday, and saw my lungwort plants. A few years ago a friend and I commuted (about an hour each way) to the same workplace. We're both avid gardeners so of course one day, the conversation evolved into 'if we were to describe the people we work with as plants, which plants would they be and why',
We spend a couple days worth of trips and finally decided who was what: we assigned zinnias, morning glories, roses, peonies, lillies, cactus, spiderworts, margurite daisies, tansy, iris, dandelion, crab grass, bindweed and lawn, lol.
There were a couple of times we laughed so hard it was hard to keep the car on the road......we both said 'bindweed' when 'Mike's' name was mentioned..... 'Ray' was lawn..... 'Wanda' pink peony.....
It was decided that I was 'lungwort', short, spotty, unnoticed from a distance, but with an interesting bloom up close......
so which plant are you?
Sue
just for fun, describe yourself as a plant....
This is a good one, Sue! What would I be??? Just exactly?? long limbed, robust, noisy grandma............Shasta Daisy......Elaine
Forget-Me-Not
Compact, ball shaped plants are massed with rich indigo blue flowers.
That's a good description of blue eyed me! LOL
Don Ü
Tee hee Don , who else does that sound like?
I'll have to think about myself as a flower for awhile, not sure I can pick just one.
Lily-of-the-Valley here.....small and somewhat invasive. ;)
Wild rose, softly spiny, simple, subtly noticed, tall, can be cut down, but keep coming back.
Creeping Jack (Jennie) I must be everywhere all the time and leave no space uncovered. Everyone loves me when they first plant me and then they don't know how to get rid of me when I show up. LOL
Laugh!
Well, I sure wouldn't be a violet, so let me think, hmmmmmmmmm
