Primula are starting to bloom!

I think these are appropriate for this forum? Anyway - lots of primula starting to
bloom by my pond/spring. Here's a healthy veris that has a baby next to it now.

And a lovely juliana I got as a left over from the Phila Flower Show NARGS chapter display last year.

I'm not sure what these are... will need to see if I can figure it out from my seed starting records.
I started these last winter.

I love all these pictures of primulas. I can only enjoy these great plants vicariously through the internet. I haven't tried any yet because the shade and moisture they seem to require are a very limited commodity in my yard, as in non-existent. You are lucky to be able to grow so many different types.

When my bid on this property was accepted and I knew it was going to be mine, I had dreams of the primulas
I would be able to grow here. The stream keeps a fairly large area moist and cool. Its a very special place. I
feel so priviledged to live & garden here. (I could not grow primulas at my old place just 10mi from here).

It will be the better part of a month before my primula flower...thanks for sharing! (and yes, I think Primula are very suitable for discussion in this forum...and not just because I have quite a few to share here when the time comes!)

Tammy, your juliana is so lush and beautiful.

Beautiful pictures, Tammy.

Your stream area sounds perfect!

Tammy you've helped me identify a primula I have had for some time as a Juliana so thanks. Many of mine are now starting to flower too. This marginata Clear's Variety
