American Wisteria
Wisteria frutescens

seeds of the American Wisteria, not flat and round like some of the other variety, but these are like "beans", adding this photo because forever I searched for a photo and could never find one.

Thanks for posting this pic! I received these seeds in trade marked generically as purple wisteria and could not figure out what they were. They looked so different than my Wisteria floribunda's seeds, I thought the label was wrong.

glad to have been of some help, I know when I first got these seeds, they were so unlike any that I had seen I had a hard time searching until I did finally get to the bottom of what they were, I got my seeds from a neighbor, who didnt' know what kind it was at the time, I had 2 vines growing up at the end of my driveway, but I think that our flood finally took them, I may have to visit Mr. Kandel again for more seeds or perhaps jsut get some starts, they seem to "runner" all over the place, he mows them off!!!

soo.... did you start your seeds yet?

Laurie just wondering if the peanut butter plant I sent you managed to survive. Haven't heard from you in a while.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
My boyfriend got me some seed pods from a "tree wisteria" I knew they were different from any wisteria seeds I had ever seen and I was going crazy trying to find out that they came from! Now I can stop trying to figure out what they are and concentrate on the best way to germinate and grow them!
Thank you again,
