I'm making devilled eggs for Easter this year. I need some ideas on the filling. I usually do salad dressing, mustard and sweet relish. But I want to do something different!
Also, I made carrot cake cupcakes. It was going to be fabulous! Cream cheese frosting with little marzipan carrots on top. But the little cupcakes turned out really odd. Is 1 1/2 cups of oil normal for a cake recipe (3 cups flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 3 eggs)? They are really oily, and not very sweet, you can hardly taste any of the spice I put in. I usually use a boxed mix, that'll teach me.
